MBH OPENS NEW CHAPEL

THE Melanesian Brotherhoods (MBH) at Tabalia together with the companions, prominent members of the church,  family members, friends and other supporters of the Melanesian Brother hoods had witnessed the official blessing and dedication of the newly built chapel - Saint Luke Chapel at the MBH headquarter.
The new chapel was officially blessed and dedicated by the Archbishop of the Church of Melanesia, the Most Reverend David Vunagi on the 21st of October 2012.

In his opening remarks, Archbishop Vunagi said the new chapel will for sure boost the ministry of the MBH as they now have a centre of spiritual activities in this missionary institution.

“All living things on earth have souls accountable to God hence as living community the church is the soul of everyone who seeks God” Archbishop Vunagi said.
The 1.3 Million dollar project was mostly funded by overseas’ partners with continues support and assistance from the Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACOM) head office as well as the companions of the MBH.

The project begun in 2010 straight after the old chapel was pulled to ground.
The Secretariat to the Melanesian Brother hood Mr. Alphones Garimae thanked everybody for continues support towards the mission and plans of the MBH.

The blessing and dedication of the new chapel was a sign of happiness as the Brothers will use the house to communicate and seek the mind of God to help them in their work.
The new chapel was fully permanent and can cater for around 500 to 600 people.
