DOCM have new home

Archbishop Vunagi during the official
blessing and opening of new DOCM
building extension

The Dioceses of the Central Melanesia DOCM is now under a conducive working environment after the successful Blessing and Opening of the Building Extension near the old Office.
The building was officially blessed and Opened by the Archbishop Most Rt. Rev. David Vunagi of the Anglican Church Melanesian on the 21st of March 2012 in front of other clergies, lay representatives and prominent members from near by Communion and staffs at the Provincial Head Quarter.
The building will serve as an administrative venue by the Parishes with in the Diocese of Central Melanesian for the role of the good mission of the Church.
In his remarks at the Opening ceremony, Archbishop Vunagi says, the building will become a power house of the Dioceses and is hoping that the missions and plans of the Dioceses will start here and further reach out to serve.
This is a significant sign of self reliance of the Dioceses in the Province.
Archbishop Vunagi also make mention that the Dioceses must not rely very much to the Head Office for assistance but to try and do for them self as they have the resources, the land, sea and people for their developments and work towards self reliance.
The building accommodates seven office rooms, reception room, Conference room, storage room, kitchen and convenience rooms for male and female.
