PRESIDENT OF MOTHERS UNION AUSTRALIA VISITS MOTHERS UNION ACOM.
PRESIDENT of Mothers Union Australia Reverend Libbib Crossman is currently in Solomon Islands purposely to strengthen the relationship of MU Australia and MU Melanesia by attending the Provincial Mothers Union council that begun on Monday.
Rev. Libbib Crossman was also given an opportunity to address the council meeting where she made a lot of encouraging thoughts of being a leader.
To the twenty eight Mothers Union leaders and representatives attending the council meeting, Rev. Crossman affirmed that to be a leader, one must be visionary, have rules and regulations to abide to, accept changes and be generous.
“As chosen Mothers Union leaders, you are representing all the Mothers, the Church in your Dioceses and most of all God,” she added.

Vice President of Provincial Mothers Union, Catherine Lamani said this was the first time for a Provincial  President of the Mothers Union in  Australia to visit them.
“This is a big thing for us to encourage Mothers Union here, share in the  spiritual side of their lives and  also to have an insight into their work”.

On Sunday the 29th July, Rev Crossman preached to hundreds of people at the Cathedral Church on the story of Jesus feeding 5000 people with the help of the little boy.
“I am very happy to come here and see for myself the ministry of Mothers Union in this country,” She said. “What I’m going to impart to the  woman here concerns  the importance of leadership. And also to learn from the Mothers here”

Rev.  Crossman will visit the Dioceses of Central Solomon Islands in Gela on Tuesday; Gueoro Parish including members of Mothers Union at Guadalcanal outreach Centre on Wednesday; and visit Sahalu Parish including Bishop Patterson Theological College at Kohimarama and Tabalia on Thursday.
She returns to Brisbane, Australia on Friday.
